Situated near a historic bridge, this charming accommodation offers old-world charm paired with modern comforts. The room featured a lovely view and was equipped with everything we needed, including luxurious Molton Brown products. Breakfast was particularly noteworthy, with a wide selection and excellent quality, especially the fresh fish dishes. the lack of air-conditioning might be an issue during warmer months, and the bathroom, while spacious, could benefit from some additional amenities.

Charming character fills every corner of this historic establishment, making it a delightful spot for history buffs and those seeking tranquil beauty. Its proximity to picturesque Cotswold hills ensures stunning walks right on the doorstep, embracing the serene countryside spirit.
Housekeeping didn't quite keep pace, leaving some dried mud from our outdoor explorations lingering in the room, which is a tad disappointing. The single small lounge area often felt cramped, with little room for our party of four on multiple occasions, suggesting a need for additional relaxing spaces. Finding out about the unexpected daily dog fee during checkout was frustrating, especially given the lack of prior notice through any communications or the website, which dampened the overall experience slightly.

I enjoyed a nice stay in the cozy room with lovely decor and appreciated the complimentary sparkling water. The garden area was perfect for relaxing afternoons, and the sun terrace was a great spot to unwind with a drink. The hot tap in our sink didn’t work, but it didn’t really take away from our overall experience. 😊

The Standard Double Room was beautifully decorated and had a cozy feel. I loved the tea and coffee setup, and the bathroom was quite nice for a relaxing bath. It was generally clean and well-maintained. Only downside was that the noise from outside was noticeable at times, which broke the tranquility.

We had an incredible time at this charming hotel. The setting was stunning, especially after hours when we had Bibury to ourselves. The friendly staff made dining wonderful, and our room was beautifully decorated, offering a relaxing space for my family and friend.
In my wife’s opinion, the menu could be improved for families with kids.

We had an amazing time catching up and enjoying the beautiful surroundings while visiting the nearby charming village and picturesque river. Breakfast was solid, and the staff really made our stay enjoyable. Pro tip , parking can be tricky, so arrive early!
The only downside was the restaurant prices felt a bit high for what we received, which didn’t quite match our expectations.

Beautiful setting but needs help
Amazing location with a lovely vibe, but the service really fell short this time. My mum and I were looking forward to some tea, but the scones were way too small and the tea was cold. the staff could’ve made our experience nicer. Definitely a bummer considering it used to be great.

The location is fantastic for a quick walk around, and the ambiance of the bar area is so cozy. We enjoyed our spacious cottage with its lovely private garden – perfect for a relaxing evening. Plus, there’s a scenic walk right across the street that's filled with ducks!
Felt like they were family, no complaints at all.
